Investigate and resolve security incidents, and recommend enhancements to ensure security effectiveness. Review the effective operation of established security controls and make recommendations for improvements as appropriate. Act as a secondary point of contact, respond to requests from internal and external auditors with evidence of the effective operation of relevant IT Security Controls (e.g. SOX, Safe Harbor). Direct the conduct of information security risk assessments, and report the results to senior management. Manage the development and implementation of global security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security. Oversee incident response planning as well as the investigation of security breaches, and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary. Apply subject matter expertise and judgment on risk evaluation, risk assessments and risk mitigations for IT and Business Unit projects. Responsible for addressing Intellectual Property protection initiatives to prevent the theft of sensitive data. Develop security architectures that support the goals of end-to-end authentication, authorization, confidentiality, transactional integrity, non repudiation and availability of key critical business applications.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Administration, Business, Marketing, or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a computer related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Designing, implementing and administering security infrastructure within mid to large-sized organizations; 2) Security Architecture and Design, Information Security Standards and Technical Security Risk Assessment methodologies; 3) Experience with hosted-services providers or cloud; 4) Current security certification, such as CISSP or CISM; 5) Operating system security, database security, network security, firewalls; 6) Identity and access management systems, anti-malware (malicious software) solutions, automated policy compliance, vulnerability scanning; 7) PKI, Data Leak Prevention, Digital Rights Management, and vulnerability assessment tools; 8) Technical presentation skills; and 9) Information security management frameworks. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
