This is a Parttime position.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Required to have a valid North Carolina driver’s license and proof of insurance, good driving record and be able to drive a large passenger van. Clear background check. Previous experience working with mental health population is preferred but not required.
The primary function is to provide residential supports for individuals with disabilities, linking individuals to community resources, and transportation. Willing to assist individuals with daily activities and participate in direct interventions to build socialization and daily/community living skills. Excellent communication skills are required. Will be required to work in a residential setting, as well as in the surrounding community. Flexible schedule/hours are a plus. Must be available to live on-site (one-bedroom staff apartment is included) and be available to respond to after-hour emergencies, as needed.
