Job Description
Vedere, a fast-growing, e-commerce site for curated art and design, seeks a solutions-oriented programming consultant that will be working on software development for the growing website. Responsibilities include coding new programs as well as adding new functionality to existing programs.
Qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Knowledge of PHP and PHP framework (Symfony preferred)
Familiarity with Sonata Framework is a big plus
Experience with Web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills, particularly written communication
The ideal candidate would work across platforms including (development, production) to define and implement technology strategy as it relates to Vederes evolving site
Have an interest in Fine Art, Interior Design or Architecture
Additional Information
Compensation based on experience. Full time, Permanent, Freelance position.
