JOB SUMMARY

Develops new programming and performs programming enhancement for existing applications. Supports the application environment of Home Care Delivered with emphasis on maintaining and modifying our core application technology to keep pace with business requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops new programming and performs programming enhancement for existing applications.
Supports the Company’s application environment with emphasis on maintaining and modifying core application technology to keep pace with business requirements.
Works effectively with key business process owners, or collaboratively as a member of a project team, to conduct systems analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation of technology.
Maintains an understanding of long-term business and technical strategies and plans to avoid creating application changes or systems that are at odds with these plans.
Follows an organized structured approach to completing projects.
Takes ownership for assigned projects, proactively accomplishes projects on-time, within budget and demonstrating a positive attitude.
Maintains accountability for hours spent on assigned tasks.
Follows an organized structured approach to completing projects.
Remains abreast of current trends in the technology industry and makes recommendations for consideration of new technologies appropriate for the Company.
Demonstrates a willingness to learn new technologies, particularly those being used by HCD.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and contributes to solutions to enhance workflow efficiency and service levels.
Works independently and/or collaboratively with internal customers to answer inquiries and resolve issues.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency in completing all assigned projects, and expedites service, escalating issues when appropriate.
Demonstrates initiative and reflects an outward attitude of readiness to do whatever is necessary to accomplish organizational objectives.
Demonstrates a basic understanding of workflow processes of throughout the Company and uses this knowledge to make effective and timely recommendations and decisions.
Performs all duties in full compliance with all federal and state statutes, regulations and policies, CHAP requirements and policies and HCD's Compliance Program and Standards, including but not limited to, maintaining strict confidentiality and privacy of patients' protected health information (as defined by HIPAA) in accordance with HIPAA regulations, cooperating with internal and external investigations, reviews and audits, engaging in good faith reporting of compliance concerns, and participating in annual and ad hoc compliance training.
