The Integration Analyst is responsible for implementing, testing, documenting, and supporting enterprise-wide application integration solutions in a team-centric, customer oriented environment. In collaboration with the integration developers, research and monitor the resolution of maintenance and enhancement solutions or issues. Implement configurations or modifications to existing applications that will effectively accomplish desired objectives. Respond to online support ticket requests or issues and provide technical support to users as needed. Meet deadlines and ensure continued progress toward assignment completion.

Essential Job Duties:

System Implementation
• Regularly interact with users, vendors, and IS staff to continually improve integration applications.
• Support the implementations of applications and prepare the appropriate documentation.
• Perform system testing and documentation for all phases of the application development life cycle.
• Perform Q/A on application functionality.
• Research and resolve implementation-related Customer Support Center Tickets.
• Adhere to appropriate UHS Project Management standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to work plans, reporting all serious deviations to management.
• Assist with the training of users in operating procedures for application.
System Maintenance/Support
• Research and resolve Customer Support Center Tickets including major application upgrades.
• Adhere to UHS Service Level and Change Management Policies.
• Provide on-call support as scheduled.
• Establish and maintains regular communications with user community.
Administration and Oversight
• Maintain Service Excellence principles.
• Prepare and submits status reports to supervisor as required.
• Keep management well informed of activities, needs, problems.
• Perform other tasks as required by management.

Requirements

Knowledge:
A combination of education and or experience for one or more years of in the area of Information Systems. Knowledge of relational databases and software development methodologies.

Skills:
• Basic knowledge of system application implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices.
• Basic knowledge of IS standards and quality methods and metrics.
• Basic knowledge of project management methods.
• General familiarity of user business practices, concepts and terminology sufficient to support the applications.
• Working knowledge of Windows applications like MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task while effectively managing time and meeting deadlines.
Preferred Background:
• One or more years of experience with FTP, SQL Server and .NET.
• Experience writing SQL queries, analyzing data for extract, translate and load (ETL) processes, development of interfaces between systems and overall integration development documentation.
• Knowledge of clinical and financial hospital patient management, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, time and attendance, decision support, data warehouse and EDI translation applications is a plus.
• Exceeding customer satisfaction.
Travel: This position will require minimal travel (0-5%) depending on projects.
