Provide software, desktop, network, and website support for the UMKC Institute for Human Development.
More specific duties— Respond to requests for technical assistance in a professional and timely manner. Purchase, install & support computer hardware, software, peripherals, and mobile devices for the Institute Maintain Windows File, Print and Web servers. Perform maintenance tasks and backups. Manage the Institute’s Active Directory Users & Computers accounts. Serve as an IT liaison with UMKC, & attend monthly IT meetings. Install software & updates on IHD PC’s. Manage network printers and copiers. Monitor IHD hosted web sites, domain name registration and related server applications. Support video conferencing functions within the Institute. Design, develop and maintain IHD websites
Minimum — Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology; 3 to 5 years of documented experience; or recognized certifications. In addition, documented training and/or experience in website design, development, and maintenance is required.
