We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Project Administrator in our Lincolnshire, IL or Winston Salem, NC office. This role with support Aon Hewitt's Communication Practice.
Project Administrators (PA) work as part of the Communication Operations Team. PA's work with Project Managers to manage the financials for our largest and most complex clients. PA's are assigned to clients and their work activities include reviewing Joint Agreement Letters, setting up projects and contracts, checking the C10 (contract set up form) for correct set up and verifying rate plans. Run report and keep tracking summaries throughout the project, assist with revenue recognition tools, partner with team to monitor budgets, keep deliverables in scope, advise on need to increase fees if scope changes. Add additional activities if work expands in scope. Work with PM on timely and accurate invoicing. Provide financial summary and feedback to project team. Run profitability reports. Identify opportunities to increase effiency and improve profitability. Assist Regional Finance Leads with review of the PO2 (work hour summary) report. Build skills to backup Regional Finance Lead during peak times. Build strong relationships with Project Managers and be able to adapt client knowledge to additional client projects.
Degree in Finance or Accounting or 3-5 yrs of equivalant business experience in financial management.
Proficiency with Excel creating and maintaining financial tracking spreadsheets.
Proven organizational skills
Ability to work on 10-15 clients in a fast paced environment
PeopleSoft knowledge, Maestro and ViewPoint experience are a plus
Desire to work as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and adaptable to different communication styles
