The Army's Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) program provides training land management capability to ensure Army training lands are always accessible, available, and capable of supporting training requirements. This is accomplished by integrating military training requirements with environmental compliance requirements, and by increasing the carrying-capacity of training lands through small to medium-scale horizontal construction and erosion control projects.

CALIBRE is seeking a Project Analyst to serve as a Project Coordinator for Fort Jackson, SC and Fort Gordon, GA. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate competence in the following areas:

• Regulatory Compliance Support: provide support necessary to maintain compliance with regulatory issues affecting LRAM projects such as Federal, State and Local Sedimentation Laws, OSHA, EPA, etc. Prepare and present briefings on the LRAM program status and goals to the installation staff and Commander providing advice on environmental compliance and training impacts related to range and training land management practices. This support shall include supervising and conducting water sampling on estuaries, streams, lakes, and ponds using water quality testing and monitoring equipment and developing best management practices (BMP) for land rehabilitation projects such as diversions, sediment basins, culverts, installation of silt fence, and critical area stabilization, and compiling reports of LRAM project findings.

• LRAM Technical Support: provide technical expertise necessary to plan and execute land restoration projects involving hydrologic diversions, water bars, sediment basins, critical area stabilization, seeding and other associated conservation measures to improve training and land conditions. Research LRAM project designs, contact counterparts and coordinate with installation or other engineers to ensure successful project construction, completion, and maintenance. Use various software and databases including GIS to analyze, develop, plan and monitor LRAM projects. Be capable of computing and executing erosion control measures such as seeding critical area stabilization involving seed bed preparation, seeding, and mulching.

• LRAM Field Work: supervise and coordinate LRAM field crews executing erosion control projects. This support shall include supervising and/or conducting inventory, maintenance, and operation of LRAM equipment. Use Global Positioning System (GPS) Receivers and other automated tools to collect data.

• LRAM Work Plan and Resource Management: prepare annual work plans and manage projects for the LRAM component of the ITAM program. Develop LRAM project justification and funding requirements. Funding requirements shall detail the amount of all material, equipment, and personnel needed to support project execution. With the ITAM Coordinator coordinate the execution of the LRAM budget, which may include attending budget meetings.
