The A&E Commercial Project Engineer/Architect shall have experience coordinating and completing all aspects of the engineering design of commercial design projects as well as wireless telecommunication sites including raw land sites and co-locations on existing towers, rooftops and water tanks. He/She will be a dependable self-starter with excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills, as well as an ability to work independently on multiple projects at one time. Responsibilities and Duties:
At the direction of the Sr. Program Manager or Project Manager, The Project Engineer/Architect will perform a variety of duties encompassing Field working, drafting, managing/reviewing drafting deliverables, basic design and detailing, pre and post inspections, etc.
Execute project scope and work plan and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Oversee and ensure assigned project milestones and deadlines,
Communicate project status to clients and internal management, as required,
Coordinate with other team members as required
Conduct Quality Assurance/Quality Control and Value-Engineering review of site audits, lease exhibits, zoning and construction drawings,
Coordinate sub-consultant team members including surveyors and geotechnical engineers,
Utilize project tracker/spreadsheet to monitor and maintain project schedules.
Registration and Experience Requirements:
BS in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related concentration
3-5 years of professional work experience,
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and Microsoft Project
Proficient in AutoCAD
Experience with proposal preparation and pricing for wireless telecommunication design projects is a plus
Valid driver’s license and registered vehicle required.
Occasional business travel required on a monthly basis.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
