Golder Associates Inc. is currently seeking a mid-senior level Coastal Engineer/Scientist to join and complement a growing and dynamic coastal services group in their Redmond, Washington office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for project management, managing and mentoring staff on projects, measurement and analysis of coastal processes, coastal engineering and geomorphological analysis, application of numerical models to coastal systems, contribute to marketing and business development of coastal services for local/regional group.

Job Requirements:
Coastal engineer or coastal scientist with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience including management of multidisciplinary projects, analysis and design, project permitting for a wide range of port, coastal, waterfront and hydraulic engineering projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work directly with clients essential. A BS degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Ocean Engineering with specialist training and experience in coastal engineering is preferred, but candidates with an advanced degree in coastal sciences will be considered. Advanced experience using Matlab is essential; familiarity and experience with application of coastal processes modeling software is an advantage. Washington PE license preferred.
