This EPA-NF position works in collaboration with Dr. William Whitehead managing social clinical and physiological research to supervise, train, and direct staff; develop applications for funding and implement research project proposals; negotiate contracts with universities, government, pharmaceutical companies, and NIH; supervise grant submissions; develop and manage a QA QC system; ensure research compliance with federal, state, and NIH regulations while maintaining Good Clinical Practices and ICH guidelines; authorizes expenditures by staff and UNC investigators and participates in monthly budget conference.
Master’s Degree in related field.
Qualification and Experience:
Management skills and experience. Knowledge of medical clinical research desired. Ability to process IRB applications and grant applications required.
