Overview:
We are currently seeking a Project Engineer Lead who provides leadership, training and support to our manufacturing plants with a specific focus on Facilities / Utilities. Reporting to the Director of Plant Engineering , the Atlanta, Georgia / Engineering & Development Center based Project Engineer travels to CCC's manufacturing plants nationwide.

Accomplish projects and goals that may never have been done before by using creativity, innovation, and knowledge of the engineering and plastic manufacturing fields

Ability to adapt to demanding and changing conditions or requirements in the middle of an assignment while providing the most excellent final product.

Responsibilities include:
Management of multiple projects from conception thru design, installation and start-up with varying milestones.
Troubleshooting and providing solutions to various facility infrastructure issues.
Design and installation of compressed air, cooling tower and chilled water systems.
Estimating projects for developing funding requests
Management of outside consultants and contractors as required
Development of equipment and construction specifications
Project Management and cost control skills
Provide technical training and expertise to plant and corporate personnel.
General Engineering design responsibilities
Operation of a Blow Mold Machine is a plus

Qualifications:
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. BSEE may be considered
6-8 years Project Engineering experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
Knowledge of blow molding equipment and blow molding operations
Knowledge of the decorating and packaging equipment used in manufacturing plastic containers, particularly bottles
Knowledge of plastic resins and resin handling equipment
Knowledge of plant apparatus and utility equipment used in the blow molding manufacturing process.
Minimum of 4 years experience in developing project proposals
Experience in determining how to reduce manufacturing costs and improve overall manufacturing efficiency specifically as it relates to facilities and utility maintenance.
Willingness to travel up to 50%
