Multiple positions in the BCA Innovation Center and Technology Organization as part of BCA Product Development, leading innovation for Boeing products. These positions address the fundamental process of innovation through large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects. We use the power of thinking through the problem and knowing the fundamental need and reason for the technology to initiate our plans to execute on innovative solutions for BCA Airplane Programs and future products. The Innovation Center leverages resources around Boeing and our external technology partnerships, to execute on complex multi-skill engineering projects. We evaluate project progress and functionality using the Technology Readiness gated process, which helps identify the artifacts demonstrating completion. We function on behalf of the airplane programs to target the right technology projects for their needs. We lead project execution to complete the work statement through to production readiness or manufacturing implementation. Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned, so that we can continuously improve project execution.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Typical Education/Experience

Level 4 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Level 5 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's 14 or more years' experience, Master's with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
