In anticipation of future needs we are accepting resumes for Project Executive for Special Projects.
The Project Executive for Special Projects is responsible for the overall direction, completion and financial outcome of multiple construction management projects that range from $500,000 to $10,000,000; as well as mentoring multiple Project Superintendents and Engineers. Current San Diego and/or Orange County area experience and established local contacts in the Healthcare, Public/Private Sector and K-12 markets are required.
Experience: The successful candidate will possess the following required experience: 10 to 15 years construction management experience on multiple commercial/industrial construction projects ; hands-on experience in all aspects of construction from preconstruction management; estimating, scheduling, document and drawing literate, cost control, purchasing/bidding/negotiations and management of superintendents on multiple sites; strong technical skills (proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word preferred); strong customer satisfaction skills [client satisfaction references required]; and outstanding presentation and persuasion skills to present and secure new project contracts (prior sales training and experience required).
Responsibilities: Jobsite responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Direct and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc.; work in a team environment with other Project Managers, Engineers and Superintendents.
Education Requirement: The successful candidate should be a BS or MS [Engineering / Construction Management preferred] graduate.
Relocation will not be avaiable for this position.
