CineMassive Displays, a leader in command and control room visualization systems, seeks a talented, experienced, and creative AV Project Engineer to help push projects through its design, planning and implementation phases.You will have an opportunity to work on the highest profile projects in the AV industry, serving mission critical environments and working with cutting edge technology. You will work directly with key stakeholders and decision makers at Fortune 500 companies and various branches of the US government. You will be at the forefront of AV.You will be working with an elite team that is pushing the envelope of AV and IT convergence. All of your skills will be challenged daily, and the fruits of your labor will be well designed and well implemented visualization systems.Actual Example of a Project: Deliver a fully integrated, turn-key, high availability mobile command center that can be assembled in the field by users with little to no training, and then disassembled and crated for transportation on a military aircraft for deployment in a war zone.Actual Example of a Project: Deliver a fully immersive and interactive visualization room for a Fortune 100 company that can be used for presentation and collaboration.Actual Example of a Project: Deliver an ultra-high resolution, high availability video distribution and control system for the largest tiled video wall in North America.Scope of Work: You will assist in the day-to-day management of A/V Video Wall and Video Wall Server projects. You will be the main point of customer contact post-sale and deliver solutions in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will utilize our Digital Workflow (SharePoint) to schedule work effectively, meet deadlines and avoid cost overrun. Create, direct, and implement project plans for staging and installation Lead/manage field logistics, deployment, and installations (typically will be performed from the office, but some travel will be required)Work with account managers and sales engineers to convert sales orders into project plansAssist with post implementation support and customer relationsParticipate in pre-sales solutions developmentDevelop and refine best practices and standard operating procedure for project implementation Develop/maintain necessary work products for project planning and job costing (engineering cost estimates, equipment lists, and bid specifications, etc) Identify/support opportunities for further projects with existing clientsRequirements Exceptional communication, organizational, and project documentation skillsDetails oriented and process driven approach to workAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with other team membersProficiency in Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Visio, and Excel, AutoCad Display technologiesSwitching and routing equipmentControl systems and associated user interfaces (Crestron, Extron)Audio systems both analogue and digitalVideo and Audio Conferencing (IP Video Distribution and VTC systems)Twisted Pair and Fiber signal distributionDigital signageSatellite and terrestrial broadcast reception equipmentCTS-I certification or demonstration of equivalent knowledge/experienceTandberg Certification a plusCCNA Certification a plus
