CES is working with one of the largest independent midstream energy companies in the United States and they are looking to add an experienced Project Manager/Pipeline Engineer to their growing team. This exciting opportunity is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.


This position will be responsible for designing pipelines, meter stations, pump stations and compressor stations. The Pipeline Engineer will also model and evaluate gathering systems, including field compression and suggest efficiency and debottlenecking projects. They will provide technical support for station startups, troubleshooting, and system expansions.

  • Provide cost estimating for projects
  • Generate AFEs
  • Develop gathering system simulation models and review against operating conditions
  • Suggest optimization projects to enhance system recoveries and efficiencies
  • Assure all Organizational design and construction standards are met and followed
  • Assure State, Federal, and Organizational regulations and policies in Safety and Environmental areas are adhered to within area of responsibility
  • Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering
  • 5 years experience in either/or natural gas gathering, compressions, oil gathering, construction, and field operations
  • Intermediate level desktop computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company as well as organizations outside of the company
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of D.O.T. compliance requirements
  • Experience preferred in the SynerGEE gas model and Stoner Pipeline simulator
  • Background and working knowledge of gas processing economic drivers and development of economic models
