Main Function
Main Function:
  • Assist in defining, sustaining and communicating reporting standards and formats related to regulatory projects/programs
  • Gather, review and compile summary regulatory program reports for submission to board and executive level committees or executives, potentially for use in discussions with US regulators
  • Interact with project managers responsible for reporting at the project/program level
  • Develop analytics of trends, themes and metrics at the portfolio level for regulatory related projects/programs
  • Develop user system reporting requirements for portfolio reporting tool

Main Duties
Managing Existing Processes
  • Maintain reporting standards for US Regulatory Program Management
  • Conduct quality reviews and challenge the qualitative aspects of project reports
  • Supervise compilation and production of monthly program reporting or other reporting as needed
  • Maintaining relationships with delivery managers, providing support and advise
  • Maintaining relationships and co-ordination with non-delivery stakeholders (such as Framework owners)
  • Perform analytical review of data reported for trends, themes and metrics to support proactive moving towards predictive focus on regulatory performance in the US
Maturing the Change Environment
  • Support design of the target risk management, delivery and benefit realization frameworks
  • Support planning to deliver on the vision
  • Support implementation of changes to mature the change environment
  • Support US Regulatory Program function
  • Support process improvement, report automation, standardization, and data security/control
Ability to challenge and influence senior project/programme managers, Function Heads, COOs and PMOs at Director and MD level

Adept at managing change control, dependencies, integrated roadmap

Comfortable providing Portfolio Analysis & Recommendations for Optimisation

Conducted investment appraisals and established financial management processes for change

Comfortable operating at board level and switching to “hands-on”, detailed, delivery work

Person Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years senior project/program delivery experience
  • 10+ years experience with Project Management tools with ability to slice/dice data to develop insights
  • 8+ years working with risk management principles
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Has understanding of the US regulatory environment
  • Designed banking risk management frameworks
  • Experienced in establishing or renovating a sizable Portfolio or Programme Management Office
  • Has conducted vendor assessments for enterprise Portfolio Management software
  • Managed reporting teams
  • Designed non-financial benefit realization controls
  • Competent in SharePoint Designer
  • Formal qualifications in:
  • Project management training (Prince II, PMP)
  • Programme management training (MSP, PMP)
  • PMO/Portfolio Office training (P3O, PMP)
