The Project Manager is responsible for completion of projects from the quotation process through execution. This includes monitoring of pricing and materials, acting as a liaison for the shop/management/customer and ensuring deadlines and specifications of projects are met.Hands-on as well as field experience is mandatory.Responsibilities: Works under minimal supervision. Plans, coordinates, and implements moderately complex project(s) as defined as a total system or primary project with substantial monetary value and/or strategic customer alliance. Involved in development of project proposal, budget, and execution strategy and reviews / modifies / produces written proposals for/with accuracy and adherence to such strategies. Participates in contract negotiations with client and subcontractors Accountable to senior management for project commercial, technical, and schedule performance. Prepares and submits monthly financial reports along with key accounting data Manages significant vendor and customer interfaces, ensuring reliability, quality, scope, delivery and acceptance criteria are effectively communicated and achieved in accordance with the project schedule. Responsible for execution of contract, including contract support documentation, and identification and effective communication of contract variations (internally and externally). Assist supply chain with sub-vendor negotiations and technical evaluations. Interfaces with both external and internal customers and vendors on technical and commercial issues. Manages project team focus in achieving common goals Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solution of problems (both technical and commercial). Handles special projects, as assigned. Accepts mentoring from Project Director. Acts as a mentor to less experienced project managers & project engineers. Travels domestically and internationally for up to 1 month duration or as required. Possesses: Ability to positively influence personnel outside of a direct reporting relationship. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering technology applicable to oil & gas facilities. Excellent critical thinking, communication, complex problem solving, judgment and decision making skills. Good time management skills. Advanced PC skills, including MS Project, Word, and Excel Bachelors degree and 10-15 years of project management experience or similar combination. Reciprocating Compressor experience
