The Project Manager will deliver successful implementation of Electronic Medical Records, Practice Management, and other related products. Will work closely with the physician, clinical and administrative teams to understand business needs, to drive the value of the EMR product suite to the practice during preplanning, implementation and post support of the launch of our PM and EMR solutions. Establish and maintain the key performance indicators of success and return on investment of project. Project Manager will also develop and execute an internal and external training plan for new modules; releases to offices of the EHR as well assist and coordinate all planning and training. Assist with new release testing. Will coordinate all Implementation, communication/updates and be a single point of contact to vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver expert knowledge, services, training and assistance on Health Information Technology (HIT) product offerings, value-add offerings, report generation utilities to organization in an efficient and responsive manner.
Responsible to develop systems for Project Management tracking to ensure close review and scrutiny across the designated practices to ensure required outcomes.
Have basic knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, database utilities, backup utilities, design utilities and other third-party HIT product offerings such as claims processing, eligibility processing, consulting services, revenue cycle management services, scanning services, remit processing as well as any new ancillary product offerings.
Develop and execute a training program aligned with better value and use of the HIT delivered products.
Provide in-house classroom training on products to personnel as needed.
Maintain a consistent and dedicated effort to learning updates and enhancements of products and associated applications.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures as documented and delivered.
Generate savings through streamline of workflows and processes with the use of the Practice Management and EMR products.
Communicate with team on all activity on a regular basis in normal daily operations.
Meet with management as needed to inform them of account status, ongoing issues, opportunities and potential issues which may cause a negative impact to the organization.
Work closely with Implementation team to act as a guide for technical and client/prospect use questions.
Develop and maintain a professional relationship with all clinical staff.
Create documentation for organization on issue resolution and publish documentation for internal use.
Perform other duties as assigned and/or assume additional responsibilities as required.
Minimum 4-year degree
Degree in Healthcare/Business/Information Technology
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements
Experience implementing Practice Management Systems and/or Electronic Medical Records in ambulatory setting
Experience with various Healthcare applications
Knowledge of the Healthcare especially the ambulatory market place and workflow
Two years business experience in project management or equivalent business experience.
Thorough knowledge of the initiation, planning, production, monitoring and closing stages.
