This position is responsible for executing and managing a range of client-facing projects with a focus on H&W client annual enrollment projects. The typical H&W Annual Enrollment client project is a 8 month project involving the client and numerous internal departments. For our H&W clients, having a successful annual enrollment is a key determinant in their referenceability and overall satisfaction with Ceridian.

Each H&W client has distinct business rules and complexities which require different setups, testing and support. This position must be able to effectively interact with a number of different teams who are responsible for various annual enrollment deliverables and tasks,. This position must be able to take full accountability for project success, quality deliverables and meet scheduled due dates. This role will interface directly with clients and must have superior interpersonal skills, articulate client expectations and negotiate issues and problem solving. Annual enrollment projects occur all year, however there is a heavy peak period August through January. Other client projects may include managing mergers and acquisitions, divestiture, audits or other related projects.

Responsibilities:
Develop custom client project plans from standard project templates, reflecting all necessary customizations to support a specific client's business rules and contracted services; lead review and approval of project plans by internal departments and with the client

Actively manage completion of project tasks and deliverables across multiple teams and departments. Assume full accountability for successful, timely and quality completion of each assigned client project

Facilitate fast resolution of project obstacles, delays, and issues to keep projects on track and meet agreed due dates and deliverable quality

Communicate regular status of outstanding deliverables to all impacted parties. Proactively plan ahead and communicate upcoming deliverables and anticipate potential conflicts or issues. Facilitate capacity planning in advance where appropriate

Lead and facilitate project update meetings with internal team members and with client to review project progress and status

Keep all project plans up to date and follow all defined guidelines and standards for project management

Produce professional, well-designed quality deliverables and reports using Project, Sharepoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other software applications and tools. Support executive-level reporting as needed

Successfully manage multiple client projects simultaneously which may range in scale and complexity

Perform technical writing assignments, as needed, including documenting specific processes and procedures, and conducting ongoing procedure maintenance, publishing and editing

Prepare and deliver presentations as needed, and occasionally conduct training on specific content topics

Cooordinate special projects across departments as directed

Perform some data analysis activities for auditing purposes or to identify improvement areas

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or related business experience

Must have strong desktop PC skills including Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Sharepoint desirable

Project Management certification strongly preferred

5+ years project management experience; with excellent skills in developing and managing project workplans, and managing lengthy complex projects

Detailed knowledge of Health and Welfare and other Benefits products such as COBRA and Reimbursement very desirable

Effective facilitations skills required, with strong verbal and interpersonal skills to interact with and positively influence a variety of technical and non-technical personnel, and different levels of personnel including executive management

Must be able to gather inputs from a variety of sources and people, and produce well-organized and user-friendly project plans

Must be able to effectively influence team members and assertively manage task completion

Effective technical and creative writing skills to draft communications, project deliverables, reports, and issues/action lists, and reference documents

Excellent follow-up and attention to detail required

Excellent multi-tasking skills required to enable successful management of multiple projects and priorities. Must be able to manage workload to meet varying deadlines, and keep stakeholders continuously apprised of work progress and status

Ability to work extended hours as needed during peak times required

Occasional travel to clients and other Ceridian locations required
