Faithful+Gould is currently seeking a midlevel Project Manager for our Minneapolis office. The successful candidate will have 10-20 years of Project Management in a Construction environment, be PMP certified and have a balance of Cost, Estimating, and Scheduling experience.

You will be assigned to a variety of projects with varying responsibilities and there is potential for short term travel of up to approximately 30%.

You must have current US work authorization to work for any US employer without requiring sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

We are seeking Twin Cities base candidates only, your typical commute will be daily to our downtown Minneapolis office. There is no relocation funding available.

The Project Manager m

aintains a primary focus on practice related services (management of the delivery of all project management related services) and a secondary focus on internal business operations (active engagement with business development, financial management, and staff development matters). In addition, they have significant independent responsibility for assignments including entire projects or situations where the project scope and complexity are limited.

Specific job responsibilities may include:

Provides primary daily point of contact to client, contractors and consultants at project level.

Creates and executes project execution plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and Faithful+Gould scope of services.

Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.

-

Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.

-

Prepares for project reviews and quality assurance procedures.

-

Minimizes Faithful+Gould's exposure and risk on project.

-

Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

-

Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.

Supports the project by providing regular forecast and expense updates to project budget.

Supports management in determining appropriate revenue recognition, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and monitoring project receivables.

Supports the project in monitoring and addressing all project billing issues and anomalies, both internal and external.

Manages and reviews consultant invoices on behalf of the client.

Follows up with clients and consultants, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.

Supports the project in developing project accounting forecasts and summaries.

-

Reviews the Project Status Report (PSR) and general financial reporting required to generate client cost reports.

Supports the project in forecasting revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization.

Effectively pursues the execution and filing of project legal documents.

Job Details

We are considering candidates with the following qualifications and experience:

Bachelor's degree in Construction or a related Engineering or Technology field.

10-20 years experience of Project Management in a Construction Consulting environment. This position is suitable for a mid-level candidate looking to leverage his resume of construction experience into a Consultant role with our veteran team to work on challenging and high profile projects for our clients.

Experience and expertise in Cost management and forecasting, Estimating, and Scheduling (P6 or similar).

Willing and able to travel for project related assignments, usually short in duration but travel may be frequent.

You must be computer savvy - we are looking for an expert user of technology appropriate to the Construction and Project Management field including all Microsoft Office applications. You must possess a thorough understanding of Project Management, Building Design & Construction, Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling, Building Cost Modeling and Risk Analysis. You should have a general understanding of Primavera, Expedition/Prolog or similar, and be able to quickly grasp Faithful+Gould proprietary Epoch and CATO software.
