Seeking a Senior Project Manager to work in our Boise, Idaho office for energy and facility related projects in our Federal Services Defense Security Group. Responsibilities include managing and coordinating all project activities and client relationships, as well as marketing POWER’s engineering/design services to existing and new clients. Project management responsibilities include managing project performance within quality, budgetary, and schedule guidelines. As a primary customer interface, the Project Manager must also be able to listen to and understand customer expectations and concerns and communicate customers’ goals, scope, approach and schedule to assigned staff. Skills in maintaining customer satisfaction are critical. The Project Manager will also interface with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, support personnel, and upper management. Additional responsibilities include planning, organizing and directing project teams and tracking all aspects of project performance. This position requires a B.S. degree in engineering or a technical field, or equivalent leadership, military and management experience plus at least 10 years experience managing energy, facility or similar engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing federal projects from either the private or agency sector. The successful candidate will have demonstrated Project Management skills, including scheduling, budget and cost analysis, management of project teams, proposal writing and presentation skills, business acumen, and supervisory skills. This position will require the ability to evaluate RFPs and generate winning proposals on short timelines. Professional registration or PMP certification is required or obtainable in 12 months.
