Global Compliance & Regulatory Management

Global Compliance & Regulatory Management plays a critical role in the successful execution of the firm's compliance mission. The Compliance function ensures the development and maintenance of a strong compliance culture by developing and maintaining program infrastructure that identifies measures and monitors adherence with applicable laws, regulations and rules that govern our business globally. Compliance teams work closely with business, legal, risk, and audit functions to provide expertise on regulatory compliance matters, assess and measure compliance and related risk and, monitor and test the adequacy of the firm's compliance control environment.

Position Description

Global Compliance currently has opportunities for Project Manager(s) to manage medium to large scale business, process and regulatory projects to meet the needs of the Business. Projects may involve participation from and have an impact on multiple functions and lines of business and will support process and strategic initiatives spanning the areas of Employee Compliance, Surveillance, Compliance Risk Framework and Regulatory Reporting.

Core Responsibilities of the Position:
As assigned, lead projects of varying scope and size through entire project lifecycle.

Provide thought leadership and work with business leads in defining, prioritizing and achieving strategic objectives and, ensuring projects delivered meet the approved business requirements.

Establish working relationships and routinely interface with project sponsors, business stakeholders, technology, internal/external clients and PMO’s. Demonstrates superior inter-personal skills, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills

Offer constructive options to ensure project tracks to original expectations and scope, assemble project teams, identify resource and/or scheduling conflicts, manage change control, function as an escalation point to keep all parties aware of new and ongoing tasks, assist in the facilitation of issue resolution

Develop and manage detailed Microsoft Project plans that will be the base documents to define roles, responsibilities and milestones for each project assigned

Produce project reporting and tracking documentation and project artifacts.

Author requirements with the support of subject matter experts, identify all impacted groups and capture key project deliverables


  • SharePoint expert (level 8 - 10), Excel expert level, Power-point expert level, Access and VB programming a plus
  • Knowledge of PMO program management standards and practices
  • Prior project management and execution experience - PMP certification preferred
  • Knowledge of Compliance program and taxonomies, including AML
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with excellent follow up skills and positive attitude
  • Thought leader with strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate with program stakeholders and teams at all levels
