The Project Manager will be responsible for implementing and supporting consumer marketing solutions built on top of Social Engagement (Livefyre), User Identity (Janrain) and CMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress). They will also be responsible for supporting project lifecycle artifacts in support of multiple, concurrent initiatives. The individual will be accountable for the formalization of process maps, and project plans, etc. The candidate will be providing support and technical guidance to numerous labels under Universal Music Group and should be a creative and analytical thinker who can strive in a fast paced environment working with multiple label groups simultaneously.
Core responsibilities will include:
? Application of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) standards
? Development of comprehensive documentation relative to project needs
? Highlighting opportunities for process efficiencies; both technical and operational
? Escalating risks; proposing mitigation strategies for same
? Assisting with internally built social applications and make them more turnkey to handle label requests
? Updating CMS plugins related to social engagement applications, CRM platforms and user identity/login applications
? Providing support for all UMG labels for implementation and troubleshooting of related projects
? Assisting with custom query requests that can’t be pulled by a digital marketer or CRM team on as-needed basis
? Background in media & entertainment industry preferred.
? Experience in data applications using AJAX/JSONP with JSON/XML/HTML content
? Familiarity with APIs, web services (JSON, SOAP) and 3rd party platforms and libraries
? Experience with WordPress plugin/Drupal module development is a plus
