Next Gen Telematics
We are seeking a highly-motivated, experienced senior project manager to work in a team environment, applying the principles to the design, development, and implementation of our system.
Reporting to the program manager, the candidate will this role will be responsible for working with all levels of business management/users to identify projects, and overseeing multiple projects across the enterprise.
This role will require extensive collaboration and coordination with the majority of business lines and will require strong business analysis capabilities to help identify technology solutions to support business objectives, define, decompose, and analyze business and functional requirements of the system.
The individual will be the key liaison with business users and technical teams and be responsible for managing scope, design, development, testing and implementation as well as user documentation and training efforts
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with business users and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Identify and Manage projects dependencies and critical path Develop and deliver status reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations Responsible for managing team members, consultants, vendors and provide oversight on Telematics projects
Experience (all required, unless indicated otherwise):
Bachelors degree. 10 years or more experience as a Project Manager on large, multi-team projects dealing with multiple, complex process areas and business groups. Experience in analyzing and designing systems that involve extensive use of complex business rules. 2 years or more Automobile industry and/or Telematics experience. Must possess solid experience with scheduling and budgeting of large scale projects Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization, needs to be able to present to executives, facilitate meetings with multiple stakeholders and vendors, and translate business requirements in technical terms to the IT team.
Must have strong problem-solving skills and customer focus, needs to be able to analyze, understand and create linkages between business challenges and IT solutions.
