Project Manager Sr.
, you are accountable for the management of projects from initiation to project close-out supporting the cross-line of business Collections Litigation Program. The incumbent will be responsible for directly managing multiple projects or a large program of varying complexity, cross-line of business with representatives at various geographic locations. This position is responsible to organize, direct, manage, control and execute the activities of assigned projects/programs in order to ensure that projects are completed on time, within the approved budget, and within stated strategic and business goals and objectives. The responsibilities within scope for this position will have significant impact on the operating efficiency and effectiveness of the Key Matters Control Initiatives. The Project Manager Sr. may manage one or many project managers and will partner closely with business partners and technology teams to ensure successful execution.
As a Senior Project Manager you will:
Provide leadership and direction for the delivery of project objectives and changes to meet business requirements
Work closely with the Business and Information Systems to develop and execute solutions to support the direction and goals of the Business.
Be responsible for all the coordination and development of reporting and MIS associated with the cross-line of business Collections Litigation effort.
Act as the change agent in the identification and execution of initiatives.
Be responsible for monitoring the details and status of projects, prepare standard and ad hoc updates and reports, identify and resolve project issues, effectively escalate decisions and issues, and establish quality measures and standards that ensure milestones are met, projects are successfully executed, and stated benefits are realized.
Be responsible for developing business knowledge and using that information to support/enhance the quality of all project phases.
Build Charters, Business Requirements, test plans, execution plans to support execution of assigned projects
Organize project teams by identifying areas of needed expertise and required skills
Direct the activities of project managers and project teams to ensure quality and timeliness of project completion
Conduct business analysis, process mapping, and process re-engineering where needed
Identify project risks and resolves project conflicts with affected management
Ensures projects are completed according to time and budget schedules, and that objectives conform to line of business' standards, operations objectives, user requirements and client's needs
Effectively manage project scope / changes, functioning as an escalation point to ensure impact is communicated and approved
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
5 years project management experience, supporting multiple complex projects/programs creating Charters, Business Cases, and Requirements Documents
Strong Interpersonal Skills; motivate project team members and interact effectively with all levels
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management
Ability to schedule and manage Commercial Banking conference calls and meetings on Sworn Documents, collections Litigation, SCRA and Notary
Some experience working on technology integration projects desired
Solid issues management and resolution skills
Strong analytical, process and detail oriented skills
2 or more years of employee management experience
College degree preferred; or equivalent work experience
Background in financial services or collections is a plus
