Faithful+Gould is now accepting applications from highly experienced Oil & Gas Operations Specialists for a vital role with an international client: Project Manager-Support Operations Auditor. This person is responsible for the implementation and effective auditing of the Clients’ Supplier Quality Management Systems to achieve compliance to Regulatory Specifications relative to Oil & Gas Industry standards. This person will work on a Compliance Audit Team reporting to the Program Manager. This project is based out of our Houston office, but this position may be based out of another Faithful+Gould office, providing the employee understands the travel requirements for the job may exceed 80%.
Typical duties and responsibilities include:
Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic audits and reviews; preparing and completing Gap analysis and audit plans; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change, and possible training of Client staff.
Validates Supplier quality management processes utilizing established procedures for validating client procedures; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
Maintains and improves quality by compiling, and auditing, information obtained from field auditors including, but not limited to, inspection and observation reports, compliance, and staff interviews. Auditing vendor compliance data; collaborating with other members of management, and the Audit Team to develop new means and methods and training procedures.
Updates job knowledge by studying trends in and developments in quality management; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Other responsibilities may include monitoring the overall QA system for effectiveness and compliance to all system and procedures as well as Client requirements. Preparing and revising system procedures to maintain compliance with relevant quality system standards.
Applicable Candidates will possess the following knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications:
Oil & Gas experience required
Upstream and Offshore experience
Quality Assurance/Control experience
Extensive experience in Project Execution Plans and Procedures required
Experience working with Supply Chain/Procurement
Inspection/Testing/Product conformity experience
Risk Management Identification & Control experience strongly required
Management of Change/Continuous Improvement experience strongly required
General knowledge of Project Management (IT/IS) systems required
Possess the knowledge and ability to effectively
conduct different types of audits in a professional, ethical and objective manner using and interpreting applicable standards/requirements.
Ability to verify,
document and communication audit results, develop an audit report and evaluated the effectiveness of a corrective action/follow-up
Ability to effectively plan, develop, communicate and execute an audit within a defined scope, using appropriate auditing techniques
Strong process and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and determine course of action
Strong ability to interact collaboratively with team members and Client
Good organizational and time management skills with ability to perform under pressure and to adjust to changing priorities.
Must be familiar with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Vizio, and Project)
Strong networking, interpersonal and teamwork/collaboration skills required
Professional registration preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Business required.
Have a working knowledge and experience with API Quality Standards.
