Provider Connectivity Consultant

Implements varied projects, programs, and plans that support the achievement of

the enterprise provider connectivity strategy. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Promotes adoption of electronic provider solutions in support of provider experience. Conducts research to inform management of new connectivity opportunities and analyzes current issues for remediation. Translates business needs into documentation of formal business requirements through discovery activities. Participates in the development of gap analysis and deployment plans for new provider connectivity solutions. Oversees the implementation of ClearQuest tickets (CQs), Small System Change Requests (SSCRs), Plan of Record activities and change requests. Participates in creating testing plans and test execution for connectivity product launches, defects and enhancements. Participates in internal and external system training and troubleshooting activities.

Job Qualifications

Requires a BS/BA degree; 4-5 years of provider service, provider engagement or provider electronic project related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Requires experience with provider facing electronic solutions including one or more of the following: multi payer portal, Availity, RealMed, legacy WellPoint provider portals, Blue Exchange, and eSolutions (EDI). Requires proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
