Engages in a variety of clinical services and serves as a
medical/psychiatric consultant to the Act Team.
Sees clients in their residences and/or the offices of
the ACT Team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the
medical consultation to a multi-disciplinary staff.
direct service including responding to crisis situations, including
suicidal/homicidal intent, profound deterioration, etc.
staff consultations, psychiatric evaluations and medication visits.
in disposition meeting(s) as needed for therapeutic consideration of treatment
plans (assessment of client’s condition, mental status, assets and
limitations, diagnosis and treatment recommendations, and review of
off on documents requiring psychiatric review including comprehensive
treatment plans, quarterly reviews, insurance forms when indicated, etc.
need for psychotropic medication for clinic clients; prescribes
medications as needed, educates clients and relatives about these
medications and their effects, reviews and adjusts dose level as needed,
and documents all medications in client’s charts.
monthly reports to ACT Team Director.

ability in providing psychiatric services to a diverse population of adult
clients/families and providing psychiatric consultation to a
