Teach physiological psychology and advanced and introductory undergraduate courses including statistics and/or experimental psychology; serve as coordinator of the psychobiology program. Pursue scholarly projects that are relevant to the mission of the department and institution that complement existing department strengths -- including the development of an active undergraduate research program and a relationship with the allied health sciences; service on department committees and possibly as animal colony caretaker as needed.
Normal teaching load is 12 hours per semester; research active faculty normally receive a 3 hour per semester reduction in teaching.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

Required: Ph.D. in Psychology at the time of appointment; evidence of ability to teach effectively; evidence of ability to establish a quality undergraduate research program in psychology; and to seek external funding.
Preferred: College/University teaching experience; evidence of ability to direct a psychobiology program and to work closely with allied health science programs. Evidence of ability to contribute to department service.
