The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing the business requirements/processes to support the complex Medicaid/Medicare requirements and Medicaid/Medicare data.
The Business Analyst must have healthcare experience and be able to execute the enterprise strategy for master data management by working with the customers, while providing oversight to ensure team activities are progressing and meeting goals.
In addition, the Business Analyst will lead the development of requirements, the development of designs and design documents, the development of use cases and process models and oversee team activities.
The Business Analyst will also be responsible for: gathering and digesting business requirements, creating the requirement document, and providing customer feedback, developing process models and use cases, reviewing profile results for Master Data Management (MDM), working with business owners to create design, development, and deployment phase documents.
Consultants will be located in an IBM office in the metropolitan area or at an IBM client site.
Generally projects and clients are within the Metro area and require very limited travel outside of the local area. However, some projects do require up to 100% travel for an extended period of time that is generally less than 1 year. Consultants are required to be flexible with their ability to travel and cannot refuse projects due to travel.
High School Diploma/GED
At least 5 years experience in a Business Analyst Role, developing requirements, design documents, process models and use cases
At least 5 years experience in a Medicare/Medicaid project, working with Medicare/Medicaid data
At least 5 years experience in with system development lifecycle (SDLC) process, especially as related to managing requirements, testing and support.
At least 5 years experience in healthcare payer experience
Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
U.S. citizenship required
English: Basic knowledge
At least 10 years experience in a Business Analyst Role, developing requirements, design documents, process models and use cases
At least 7 years experience in healthcare payer experience
English : Intermediate
