Pos iti on : Twelve month, non- tenure track Public Service Assistant with responsibilities in Integrated Pest Management and Ecosystem Health in the Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health. The position will initially be budgeted 100% Extension and Outreach.

Pos iti o n Responsibilities: Provide overall program coordination and leadership in extramurally funded integrated pest management (IPM) and forest health programs for the Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health at UGA and serve as Assistant Director of the Southern Region IPM Center. Specific responsibilities include use and implementation of the latest web technologies to better leverage technology resources in the southern region for more effective delivery of IPM information, provide technical and programming support for Center databases and web sites, and support a variety of data gathering initiatives and web sites dealing with recent invasive species.
Q ua lifi ca ti ons : Applicants must have earned a M.S. degree in Entomology and have several years of experience in IPM and information technology. The successful candidate must have a strong background of relevant course work, a strong record of achievement in IPM and all aspects of web development, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
