Avitecture, Inc., an employee-owned company in Sterling, Virginia, is seeking an experienced and energetic person for the position of Purchasing Assistant /Order Processing .
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and possess strong written and oral communication skills in order to support sales staff and project managers . Prior experience working with b uying or inventory duties is preferred. Excellent a nalytical and excel skills are required.
Duties will include:
Review of all sales orders for accuracy and completeness
Purchase products to maintain inventory levels and for back order fulfillment
Process and receive purchase orders for specialty items
Process drop shipments
Maintain complete and accurate paperwork Assist sales representative where more specific product knowledge is required to close the sale
Help sales representatives with product selection
Troubleshoot supplier problems and assist in resolution
Monitor the progress of orders and delivery status
