Must have skills:
: Hands on experience with building and maintaining automated testing for web applications.
: Hands on programming experience in at least one of Java, Ruby, Groovy, Python
: Exposure to open-source web automation testing tools like Capybara, Cucumber, Selenium, JBehave etc.
: Ability to capture business requirements into reusable automated testing snippets using one of the above tools.
: Nice to have understanding of Catchpoint, QTP, LoadRunner etc.

Job Responsibilities:
: Create and execute testing scripts
: Continuously suggest new testing tools and ways to decrease testing time and effort
: Analyze and test code functionality to ensure that it is defect free
: Understand business requirements to ensure that the package meets the intended needs
: Conduct system tests to ensure smooth integration
: Tracking testing activities and complete daily reports
: Partner with delivery team to resolve open issues and retest functionality
: Act as the final decision makers on application readiness for production
: Work within an approved testing methodology, tracking functionality and defect cases
: Involvement with technology forums and industry user groups

Experience
: 5-7 years experience in testing software applications
: 3-5 years experience testing web applications
: Experience with Selenium test tool
: Knowledge of MySQL and ability to write and execute queries
: Experience with Linux or UNIX and Windows Operating Systems
: Experience with defect tracking systems, test management systems, and web site debugging and analytical tools
: Retail industry experience preferred

: Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, HTTP, FTP, JSP and Tomcat
: Ability to follow approved testing methodology
: Experience with database systems and SQL programming

: Strong oral and written communication skills
: Ability to work in a team environment
: Ability to work in a fast paced exciting environment
