As a member of the Scrum team, you will be coordinating the team to ensure that test driven processes are consistently carried out to deliver a high quality product. You will also work cross-team to solicit reviews, and to acquire feedback, in order to facilitate a smooth delivery and deployment of product.
Primary responsibilities include:
Actively participate in the planning and formulation of Acceptance Criteria for all current sprint stories.
Drive the creation and completion of story Use Cases, ensuring that this is step one, prior to implementation.
Write User and Technical Documentation, driven entirely by the story Use Cases.
Coordinate the consistency of Use Cases with automated tests.
Initiate, and participate in, vetting of story Acceptance Criteria throughout each sprint.
Solicit reviews of completed documentation (each sprint) from outside the scrum team (from support, training, and services team members).
Work with the team and support personnel to investigate and verify product issues. This includes Commercial and Release Candidate applications.
Complete testing and documentation tasks throughout each sprint, along with regression testing procedures for product release.
Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
3+ years experience as a QA Analyst, Product Owner/Manager, User Experience Analyst, and/or Technical Writer.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A solid understanding of quality assurance as part of the development process.
Well-versed in the software development life cycle.
Detail oriented and a problem solver.
Well-versed in testing methodologies (white vs. black box test work, system vs. functional).
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
Experience in the following is considered an asset:
Automated testing toolsets.
Scripting or programming experience.
Scrum and agile development methodologies (Scrum certification is a plus).
