We need a Quality Assurance Engineer who will perform in active automated test creation and execution as well as performance test creation and execution. You must be able to master complex business process flow and design and execute robust and dependable testware for our applications. You will be testing systems built in PHP, Python, Java, and Flash that are delivered in web browsers, kiosks, and specialized custom-built interfaces.

We want to talk with you if:
You have an attention to detail that borders on annoying among your acquaintances but that wins respect among your friends and peers;
You have a good eye for matching specifications to reality and you can read closely to find find mistakes; you can be “pixel perfect” when called for;
You have a computer science degree or it’s equivalent and you have excellent oral and written communication skills;
You noticed the typo in the previous bullet;
You have experience writing automated test cases in Selenium and running them in Sauce; knowledge of Java and the Eclipse IDE is helpful;
You can look at a complete set of wireframes and derive a test plan from them;
You have a clear understanding of QA principles and methodologies;
You play well with others: we are just getting off the ground with a QA group that is distinct from the developers and we’re still developing processes and procedures;
You know more than just QA: you can recognize and work with Ajax, jquery, CSS;
You are disciplined enough to work efficiently, track your progress, meet your commitments, understand how to spend your time, and be responsible for your part;
You are comfortable (you might say “you prefer…”) an agile environment where proofs of concept, prototypes, and partial requirements abound;
You understand our need for quality – you’ll have some fun with our coding test, but you’ll show your finest chops so we hire you for all the right reasons: API is world-class in everything we do.
You are driven to continually improve the way you do things, and hence the way we do things – process is good;
Examples of responsibilities you’ll be shouldering on different projects:
Plan and Develop test plans and cases.
Creating and executing automated and performance test scripts in JAVA.
Maintaining automation tests.
Report status and updates.
Follow project milestones.
Participate in software development meetings
