Job Description :
Geodelic is seeking a top-notch QA Supervisor / Lead who will develop the methodology, maintain the tools, coordinate the operations, and direct the future growth of the QA Department in order to help build a high-quality product.
The QA Supervisor / Lead will be responsible for overseeing product QA for our mobile applications spanning across the iPhone, Android, & Blackberry platforms, as well as our web application.
Additionally the QA Supervisor will manage a team of 3 to 5 QA Testers / QA Engineers.

Responsibilities:
Develop strong methodology for functions of QA team, and direct future growth of the department and long-term test planning
Participate in Product Management and Developer meetings to determine and execute QA priorities, and serve as primary point of contact between QA and other departments
Coordinate overall tasks and responsibilities of 2-3 QA Testers and 1 QA Engineer
Utilize Rally and any other appropriate means to develop and manage test plan for QA Testers
Setup & maintain CI system and related tools for QA Engineering
Carry out any unfulfilled duties of the QA department as needed
Participate in Scrum
Execute functional, application, regression and performance tests
Write and execute use cases / test cases / test plans
Generate bug reports and follow through to resolution
Support release process and perform production verification testing
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of managing a QA department with a team of at least 3 engineers
Knowledge of software development, QA methodologies, release process
Experience using bug tracking, RallyDev.com is a plus
Experience with a Unix environment
Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and work ethic
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
Have at least a BA/BS in related field, from a major 4-year, accredited university.
Have ingrained adherence to modern development practices (unit testing, version control…).
Familiar with server-side automated testing & CI.
Comfortable in the fluid, high-energy environment of a start-up company
Highly communicative and collaborates easily with others
US citizenship.
Preferred:
QA experience with iPhone and Android
Experience using Rally
Mobile phone enthusiasm, or an understanding of mobile development
Scripting skills (Python, Java)
QA Engineering experience
