Supervise, organize and monitor quality department productivity and determine strategies to improve efficiency of quality department functions. Support operations by contributing to team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Enforce quality standards of final audit, incoming inspection, error proof audits, and in-process inspection.
Direct technical staff in quality assurance activities.
Testing and inspecting products at various stages of production.
Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities to team members and management.
Compiles and evaluates data for the adherence of conforming products
Inspects product to determine compliance with audit requirements for finished goods, first piece and incoming raw materials.
Will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating and facilitating ISO activities/compliance.
Interpret drawings and diagrams.
Coordinate, plan and develop quality department training.
Collect, analyze and summarize information and trends by preparing reports, graphs or charts.

Education And/Or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
Current Driver’s License preferred.
Forklift License preferred.
