Adecco Engineering & Technical has an immediate need for a Quality Specialist/Supervisor. This is a one year contract that may be come a direct hire position. This is a key role for our client. In this role, you will truly make an impact for years to come.

Start Date: 1 -3 weeks after an offer is made

Pay Rate Range: $25-34/hr DOE

Position Overview:
Provide generation of quality report, product assembly documentation, prices documentation and development and auditing of quality programs and systems

Position Requirements:

Direct and indirect supervision to employees performing diverse roles within the quality department.
Coordination of internal activities of incoming receiving inspection and first article flow including planning, execution records and metrics.
Customer First Article – Reviewing large bill of materials (multi-level) with 5000+ line items to identify first article requirements, Running reports against those items to identify gaps and driving resolution to gaps identified until first article successfully submitted and accepted by the customer.
Reviewing of first article documentation submitted from sub-tier suppliers for compliance.
Planning and establishment of work schedules, assignments from sub-tier suppliers for compliance
Planning and establishment of work schedules assignments and priority within the inspection department based on production needs
Interpret and clarify specifications, blueprints, company policies and procedures for workers.
This position will be hands on at all times and you will need to be able to develop inspection criteria, utlize calipers, height gauges micrometers, etc…
Document non-conformities, recommend corrective action.
Continuous improvement of inspection processes

This is a very long-term (2 -5 + year) contract role with one of our premier client’s located in the Beaverton / Portland, Oregon.
Local / Regional Vancouver Washington / Portland, Oregon Candidates highly preferred.
This position includes 10 paid federal holidays each year and an additional 10 PTO days after the first year
No Relocation or interview expenses.
