The Quality Analyst I is responsible for quality control in the Vapor production area including acceptance of incoming materials, evaluation of work in process, and release of finished products per procedural requirements and specifications. This role requires the use of measuring devices and data analysis to support high speed production operations and support continuous improvement initiatives. 1st and 3rd shifts available, 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am on a 3/2/2/3 rotation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure fitness for use of raw materials prior to use in production
Execute control methods to ensure quality of production including quality audit and evaluation of finished product and work in process against specification
Determine disposition of non-conforming materials, work in process and finished products
Operate and maintain various test instruments
Conduct data analysis to support daily operations, supplier performance, and troubleshooting
Maintain records of test results, generate reports, and interpret results
Perform correlation studies with suppliers and other sites
Communicate with logistics on deliveries and movements
Monitor rework activities

Position Qualification:
Job Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant work experience; Or
Associates Degree in related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience; Or
Bachelor of Science degree in related field

Experience using test devices, Excel, Share Point, MES, MS Office Applications; previous quality control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Ability to work in a team environment as a leader as well as a participant to accomplish objectives
Technical communication skills
Dependable and flexible; ability to change direction quickly
Proficient computer skills (including Microsoft Office Professional Suite)

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with high precision measuring devices
Experience in conducting correlation studies and interpreting the results
Knowledge of calibration and performing instrument adjustments
Basic knowledge of statistics relating to data analysis
Proficient with data transfer (electronic and paper)and record keeping
Ability to read design drawings and interpret dimensions and tolerances
Knowledge of and experience with SAP, MES, and Pilgrim software programs
Experience with optical gauges preferred
Experience in a FDA regulated work environment

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Sufficient eye acuity to identify imperfections in manufactured products
Ability to visually discern colors, including intensity of color/shade
Regular attendance at work
