Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with prior experience supporting customers and projects within a scientific and/or clinical laboratory setting? If so, Vistronix may have the ideal opportunity for you to continue to grow your skills and work with a very dynamic technical team in Raleigh, NC. The most qualified Quality Assurance Analyst / Liaison II must be knowledgeable and experienced with Reproductive and/or Toxicology applications. Hands-on experience with Provantis is a strong plus. The ideal candidate must be familiar with QA standards, interpreting product requirements, developing test procedures, and performing tests that require large manipulation of data.
Responsibilities: In this role, you will perform the following duties in addition to other general position requirements:
Act as the primary contact for clients with regard to troubleshooting and resolving user problems with Provantis and/or other Toxicology applications Must Have Provantis Experience Backup the User Liaison as needed Analyze issues and problems for trends and common system problems Provide technical writing for program and operational documentation Develop test plans and test cases Manage bugs and error tracking Compose and present test results to management Work with multiple teams including scientists, developers, and QA to resolve user issues and to provide subject matter expertise Configure Database tables (reports) using Provantis modules and user interface Create calculated endpoints using tools in Provantis user interface or other system Creates and assists with the creation of endpoints and reports in Provantis and other systems Uses SQL to create views and other database objects Validate calculations and endpoints are mathematically accurate Prepares progress reports and document user problems/questions Assist with implementation and customization of tables and calculated endpoints in collaboration with others Qualifications: Education and Experience:

Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Bioinformatics or other related discipline Must Have Provantis Experience Minimum of 5 year of structured software quality assurance and user support experience in a biomedical, toxicology, health science, or pharmaceutical environment Hands-on experience with developing validation plans, test plans, and test cases following quality assurance best practices Experience with IT/infrastructure support strongly recommended Excellent communication skills.

Required Skills and Competencies:
Must Have Provantis Experience User Support in a in a biomedical, toxicology, or health science environment Good communication, leadership, and problem solving skills Quality Assurance and Testing standards Test Plan and Test Case Development Documentation and Reporting Microsoft Office Operating system experience with Windows XP and Server 2003/2008

Desired Skills:
Must Have Provantis Experience Hands on experience with Provantis Experience developing reports in Business Objects Agile/Scrum Methodology SVN/Subversion Source Code Control JIRA Confluence wiki SQL DDL and DML
