THIS IS A PAID POSITION!
The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for the quality activities for the Developmental Services Programs and assists in division wide quality activities under the direction of the Program Director.
The position requires a Bachelors degree in a related field, two years of service provision/experience in developmental disabilities programs and demonstrated ability in the areas of written and verbal communication. The position requires demonstrated ability in program implementation, training, and development and a combination of the following skills and abilities: to understand and communicate, verbally and in writing, licensing, accrediting, and other regulatory standards; provide ongoing training and feedback to staff regarding program regulations; auditing, evaluation, and data collection skills to monitor program compliance.
Conduct internal audits and surveys individually, or as part of a team, as approved by the compliance director. Provide status reports and work plans to the program managers, program director, and division director.
Schedule and track developmental services program staff yearly-required trainings and provide compliance reports to the division director, program director, program managers, nursing supervision, and human resources manager.
Facilitate trainings for developmental services staff.
Participate in division wide performance improvement committees including site safety, incident review, performance improvement, and infection control.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives including, satisfaction surveys, developmental services program outcomes, and performance improvement teams as assigned.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
EFFECT ON END RESULTS:
Improve program compliance with licensing, accrediting and other regulatory standards.
Aid developmental services programs in meeting training requirements for licensing and accreditation.
To improve skills sets/competency of staff.
Assist the program director in coordinating all performance improvement committees.
Advance the developmental services programs achievement of quality goals.
Support the division and developmental services programs as needed.
