DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for the Quality control of tracking, reporting and following up with appropriate supervisor of all required chart documentation. Fulfills the responsibilities of Medical Records Librarian, in the oversight, maintenance, and accessibility of client records/charts for audit compliance.

Process, monitors, and tracks PCP Referrals (Primary Care Physician) to meet strict audit compliance.

1 Full-time position is available.

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8-4:30.

Location: Jacksonville, AR.

DUTIES

Primary Care Physician Referrals (PCP) processing, tracking, and database entry

Fulfills all duties associated with Medical Records Librarian as required by Medicaid RSPMI; includes monitoring archived charts and documentation.

Coordination of documentation by making required copies, scanning, tracking of all documentation & obtaining all required signatures.

Perform Quality chart checks as required of client files as needed or required

Data Entry of required compliance documentation

Maintains accurate and current spreadsheets and databases as needed or required

Cross-trained as back-up on all Reports, including Lytec and Quarterly Management Reports (all inclusive); back-up for GAT; and, creation / revision of forms / templates.

Compiles and maintains list of all Self-Pay and Pro-Bono clients served at School-Based sites

Possesses the ability to run all reports requested from applicable databases or spreadsheets

Creates reports for Director's review as needed

Tracking reports for POC and MTP or other compliance documentation submitted to the Director of Mental Health on a timely basis

Maintains accurate and current caseload reports of active clients

Create and maintain Face sheets from the Mental Health database; deliver to Accounting Department as needed, or requested.

Assists Mental Health Professionals with Intake process to ensure that required documentation is received; verifies all Intakes for accuracy and timeliness.

Coordinates with Physician and Physician's Staff in obtaining required signatures and ensuring that Physician's Staff receive required documentation from the Medical Records office.

Attends meetings and training as directed.

Assists with Quality Control by doing Data entry and other tasks as needed and assigned.

Prepares and distributes Memos, Correspondence, and other correspondence as directed.

Completes Special Projects done on as needed basis, after Data Entry.

Job duties must be performed at work location as assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or Associates in medical-related field; prior mental health provider experience preferred. Proficient in Excel spreadsheets and database entry, skilled in alpha numeric, 10- key data entry, be detail oriented, and have the ability to manage strict time-sensitive documentation.
