DESCRIPTION

Quality Assurance Manager is required to implement and roll out the integrated Quality Management system throughout Gyrodata locations

DUTIES

Duties / Essential Functions

  • Develops the existing QMS in EAC to make it generic so that it works through all regions and becomes the corporate QA management system
  • Maintains ISO 9000 in EAC
  • Plans out the implementation of the Corporate QMS
  • Works with other regions to implement QMS throughout.
  • Manages internal and external NCR's raised until satisfactorily closed out
  • Develops annual quality plans for submission to the management team
  • Promotes and monitors the agreed quality plans
  • Reviews and assists in the indentification of QM software to link with existing Gyrodata software and databases
  • Plans and prepares management review meetings and quality meetings to effectively develop the quality system within the Company
  • Conducts internal and external audits at all Gyrodata locations
  • Prepares monthly reports and statistics on SQ3 IMS's raised, cost incurred, category etc for feedback from Area and Regional Managers
  • Performs CAPA and RCA as required
  • Reviews key performance indicators for the QHSE integrated system
  • Acts as point of contact for Gyrodata clients QHSE needs and carries out external audits
  • Identifies training needs and trains staff on internal audit procedures
  • Trains staff on the QA system to allow better understanding of the system and its place within the Company
HSE Function

  • Works alongside the HSE Coordinator to maintains and updates the health, safety and environmental policies and procedures of the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (QHSEMS)
  • Helps identify and implements solutions to health, safety and environmental problems that impact on company operations and business activities
  • Assists where necessary with client representatives on health, safety and environmental matters, as applicable
  • Promotes throughout the company health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are effectively implemented at all times in accordance with company, industry and statutory requirements
  • Assists with the implementation and monitors health, safety and environmental action plans in accordance with company requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Requirements

  • At least five years experience with Quality Assurance required
  • Implementing/Managing a quality management system within an oilfield service company is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in auditing and working knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Good communication skills both verbally and in writing to all levels within the Company
  • Proven competency in computer software
  • Presentation skills enabling effective demonstration of concepts, findings and recommendations to management, Customers, external agencies and auditors
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English Duties / Essential Functions
