Job Description:
The Campbell Companies (TI Division), a rapidly growing precision machining manufacturer located in West Lawn (Reading), PA. is seeking to immediately hire a Quality Control Inspector. This is a permanent full-time first shift position that offers a highly competitive wage and benefits.

Purpose:
Ensure that the Campbell Companies products are of consistent and of the highest quality through inspection of CNC machined metal and plastic components using established Company and ISO procedures.

Principal Duties:
Inspection of all manufactured parts including 1st article, in-process, and final inspection using supplied product drawings.

Accurately measure and inspect parts using a variety of tools and equipment including Calipers, Micrometers, Comparators, Microscopes, OGP and CMM to ensure that drawing specifications and part quality are met.

Act as liaison with Quality and Manufacturing Management to discuss product non-conformances.

Calibrate equipment according to internal schedules and manufacturers' recommendations.

Keep detailed and accurate records of all production runs, and maintenance activities according to Campbell Companies and ISO guidelines.

Advise direct Manager of perceived problems with product, or equipment, and assist in developing improvements.

Assist with implementation and continuous improvement of quality systems.

Respond with flexibility to changes with the production schedule and interact with other departments as necessary.

Assist Engineers with protocols, and product validations.

Perform other duties as assigned by direct Manager.

Abilities/Knowledge:
Advanced knowledge of Quality systems, SOP’s and measuring techniques.

Must be able to measure parts using micrometers, comparators, and OGP.

Must demonstrate strong quality inspection knowledge, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Good written and oral communications skills, computer literacy, basic math skills, and mechanical aptitude are required.

Capable of working with small parts, manual dexterity, and appropriate hand–eye coordination with visual acuity skills required.

Must be highly motivated and detailed oriented.

Strong understanding of ISO standards and regulations preferred.

Knowledge of GD&T and CMM is a plus.

Education:
High School graduate, additional trade school or technical college degree, or equivalent work experience required.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quality Inspector in a production manufacturing environment. ISO and GMP experienced preferred.

Working Conditions:
Controlled environment where safety equipment must be worn. The Campbell Companies safety and operating procedures must be followed. Handling of some chemicals and solvents required. Safety shoes and safety glasses are required. Person will be required to work with machinery, hand tools, fixtures, and measuring / test equipment. Some tasks require repetition of movement.
