-Perform cosmetic and mechanical inspections based upon internal and customer supplied workmanship standards and specifications.
-Areas of inspection will include (but are not limited to) Sheet metal fabrication (NC/Laser, brake, deburr, hardware, weld, paint), Frame Welding, Assembly box build, Machining, QA Lab (first piece/first article), Outside process inspection.
-Develops and Managing tools and gauge calibration program with ability to perform gauge calibration, preventative maintenance, gauge repeatability and reliability studies and gauge layout.
-Complete daily reports to document quality issues identified during routine inspections.
-Communicate quality issues with team members (engineering, program management, etc).
-High School Diploma.
-Minimum of 5 years inspection experience.
-Must be knowledgeable in GD & T "Geometric dimensioning and tolerance"
-Experience using basic inspection equipment (bore gauge, caliper, micrometer, pin gauges,).
-Ability to read/understand blue prints.
-Must be flexible in regards to overtime availability and work with minimal supervision
-CMM, Weld, Paint knowledgeable is a plus
