  • This position reports to the General Manager of the Ceran plant in Vincennes, Indiana and is responsible for all technical quality aspects of new or revised features of product including specifications for pre-production, defining process capabilities, defining measurements and methods for checking parts to specification. This position will complete FPA processes including documentation as well as provide input on fixture specification based on understanding of critical to quality items.
  • This position coordinates with customers and suppliers on issues of product specification. Creates and provides quality assurance processes (e.g. FMEAs, design reviews, trial runs, control plans, and gage R&R processes). Responsible for follow up and resolution of customer inquiries and complaints especially during the design and planning phases of a new product introduction. Defines and maintains system to disposition and resolve supplier issues involving non-conforming material. Clarifies open questions about specifications and drives audit and corrective action systems.
  • This position establishes and maintains quality controlling system to track relevant quality figures (PPM, scrap, test results, etc.) and to continuously improve these figures. Integrates these figures into the overall Schott management information system as well as defines and implements the quality management system.
  • This person will manage a staff which will include goal setting, evaluation, and development of personnel in the Quality Department as well as establishing and maintaining a working environment that is compliant with the respective standards of code of conduct and EH&S.
  • This position is responsible for constant improvement of quality processes including organization by regularly analyzing the quality processes (including scrap, testing, capability studies, quality management system, PPM, and supplier performance), defining and implementing improvement actions.
