The Quality Control Manager provides quality control of services/products in support of specified logistical missions (i.e. Maintenance, Supply, and Transportation).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Understands program planning, data collection and analysis, and quality control techniques.

Demonstrates broad knowledge of applying quality programs relating to a variety of logistical functions (i.e. Maintenance, Supply, and Transportation).

Adjusts work operations to meet emergency or changing program or production requirements within available resources without a reduction in the quality of work.

Establishes program objectives or performance goals and assess progress.

Analyzes organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions.

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.

Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Control , Assurance, or an equivalent Military degree. Five years general experience in management, professional, investigative, technical or other responsible work in providing quality control of services/products in support of specified logistical missions (i.e. Maintenance, Supply, Transportation). Must also have five years specialized experience in development, implementation, and management of a quality control program.

Must have the ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others. Must be skilled in written and oral presentations.
