NCH is currently looking for a Temporary Quality Control Technician to work for Danco, Inc. (a division of NCH Corporation) at our distribution center in Dallas, TX. This person will be responsible for performing lab testing, product verification and creating Corrective Action Requests. This is a short term temporary assignment that would last for approximately 4 weeks.

Danco sources and distributes parts for virtually every brand of plumbing fixtures, including faucets, sinks, tubs and toilets. You can find our plumbing parts in most major hardware and home improvements stores throughout the United States.
•Generate Corrective Action Requests (CAR) for non-conformance issues and follow up CAR with buyers until completion
•Track, maintain and file CAR by internal and external suppliers
•Investigate and solve barcode issues and manage barcode improvement projects
•Provide functional testing support
•Assist with product approval, sample processes and sourcing issues
•Communicate testing results effectively by phone, email or personal interaction
•Minimum of 2 years experience in a quality control or sourcing environment
•Associate’s Degree is preferred
•Strong mathematical, statistical and analytical skills
•Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Access
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Must be a team player with the ability to multitask and resolve issues in a timely manner
•Capable of following written instructions, procedures and schedules with minimum supervision
•Must have experience using measuring instruments, such as calipers and thread gages
•Able to read mechanical/engineering blueprints and drawings.
