www.rft.comWhat will you do at RFT?The person who will be excited and successful in this role is someone who is extremely curious and gets great satisfaction from achieving the completion of a project. We are looking for someone who really understands how software interacts with a system and wants to make sure that it is the highest quality possible! This person will re-invent, create and execute our validation plans and test procedures. Someone who has the urgency to get things done, but at the same time wants to execute the perfect test plan.So specifically, what do we really need.Curiosity - we need someone to come in and ASK QUESTIONS!

Investigate failures, get information from other departments, question process and procedures.Knowledge - it will not be enough to rely on what is in existence. Learn the products and history, stay current on current and emerging standards, keep learning and advancing the quality function.Collaboration - use your collaboration skills to drive high quality requirements. Participate in new product development processes, work with engineering, schedule meetings when needed and ask for the information that you need!Resilience - we need someone that can push the envelope. There may be some resistance with new process, higher standards, ambiguity, etc - know how to be flexible and help others to do the same.Dedication - we need you to do the validation of our products!

Review new and existing test methods, make improvements, determine RFT compliance, statistical analysis, participate in other areas of quality, prepare test schedules, supervise (test) project resources and maintain test records and associated systems. Specific qualifications include: 3-5 years experience in electronics and/or software manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with ISO9001 or ISO13485, FDA Quality System Regulation, and industry standardsAccomplished user of word processing, spreadsheet and database applicationsAbility to read and interpret drawings and schematicsAbility to write clear instructions and reportsExperience with the use of small hand and power tools, soldering, and similar skills.Action oriented with a bias for corrective and preventive actionsStrong knowledge process mapping, design of experiments, root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and other quality tools and techniquesBS or related four year degree in electronics, software development, or qualityASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
